(Milford, Conn./WTIC) - Milford Police say a man they charged Tuesday in a domestic violence incident used his phone call after being arrested to threaten the alleged victim.
Under arrest is 49-year-old city resident Russell Jones.
According to police, Jones became aggressive toward a female inside an Anderson Avenue home just after 8:00 last night.
When she denied him entry because he was intoxicated, police say Jones attempted to break down a door and damaged the inside walls of a garage.
Officers say the incident took place in view of a juvenile who was inside.
After Jones was taken to police headquarters, they say he then used his phone call to threaten to kill the victim.
He now faces charges of threatening, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury.
Bond was set at $25,000.
