STRATFORD, Conn. (WTIC) – Stratford Police have made an arrest in a Child Pornography case involving a school bus driver.
John Kenneth Stone, a 76-year old Stratford resident was arrested and taken into custody on May 23rd. His arrest stemmed from a child pornography complaint issued to the Stratford Police Department Detective Bureau from the National Center for Missing Exploited Children in February.
Detectives conducted an investigation, which led to the identification of Stone. Investigators executed a search warrant at Stone’s residence and during that search, the Stratford Police Computer Forensics Unit seized a laptop computer.
A forensic analysis of the computer found a large number of images and videos identified as Child Pornography.
Stone was then charged with Possession of Child Pornography in the First Degree. He posted a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on May 31st.
