(Wallingford, Conn./WTIC) - Interstate 91 in Wallingford has reopened following a morning crash that involved two State Police vehicles and a third civilian vehicle.
Investigators say the two troopers were en route to a medical emergency just before 8:00 a.m. when the collision occured northbound between exits 13 and 14.
The three drivers were transported to an area hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
The highway was shut for about two hours as police processed the scene.
There's no word yet on a cause of the crash or if weather was a factor.
