(Storrs, Conn./WTIC) - A member of UConn football head coach Randy Edsall's staff is headed to the NFL.
Edsall says offsensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach John Dunn has accepted a position on the staff of new New York Jets head coach Adam Gase.
Dunn will coach tight ends for the Jets
Edsall is promoting his offensive line coach Frank Giufre to offensive coordinator.
Prior to coming to UConn, Giufre spent six seasons as offensive quality control coach with the Indianapolis Colts.
Edsall is also installing running backs coach Mike Moyseenko to take over as quarterbacks coach.
And Edsall is moving quality control coach Kyle Weiss over to coach the running backs.
The Huskies open the 2019 campaign at home against Wagner August 29.
