(West Haven, Conn./WTIC) - Police in West Haven have made an arrest in connection with the death of a man last month outside a city grocery store.
Officers have arrested 36-year-old Antoine Smith.
They say on March 17, there was an assault and the victim, Anthony Carlucci, sustained serious injuries and later died at a local hospital.
Authorities say the assault occurred outside the Krauszer's store on Campbell Avenue near Brown Street.
Smith is charged with second degree manslaughter.
Police haven't said what led to the assault.
Smith is being arraigned in Milford Superior Court.
