Hartford's all that Jazz and more

Well you can't say there's nothing to do in Hartford this weekend.
One of Hartford’s major events taking place is the the Jazz festival. The 35th annual greater Hartford festival at Bushnell Park is considered the largest free Jazz festival in New England.

If that's not enough, there's the annual Connecticon at the Connecticut Convention Center. There are all kinds of things to do and see from video games to comic books. Many people expected to be there all decked out in fancy costumes.

Meantime, the threat of severe weather had forced Saturday's "The Life be in it Extravaganza" in Newington to be rescheduled for Sunday, including the evening fireworks show which attracts thousands of people.
