(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Police in Hartford have made one arrest and are seeking a second suspect in connection with a drive-by shooting this month that left a city woman dead.
Under arrest is 21-year-old Omar Reyes of Hartford.
He's charged with murder, conspiracy, weapons and other offenses in the June 9 shooting that left Sylvia Cordova dead.
The 56-year-old was cooking dinner in her apartment around 5:00 that evening when bullets meant for someone else flew into her home.
Investigators say Reyes was located Tuesday in Puerto Rico by U.S. Marshals and police on the island. He will be extradited back to Hartford.
Police also say they are looking for 24-year-old Edwin Roman for his alleged part in the killing.
There's a warrant out for Roman's arrest on murder and other charges.
Reyes' bond was set at $1 million.
