(Hartford, Conn. WTIC)-Officials say the Department of Motor Vehicles is now operating more efficiently, catering to the needs of customers and businesses.
DMV Commissioner Sibongile Magubane says many of the changes occurred during the Covid pandemic.
They point to wait-times being decreased by one-third. They also say a business unit has been created with an I-T consultant developing a portal that makes the process more convenient for bus companies, trucking and U-Haul firms.
Efforts are also being made to move business transactions on-line ad to make the website easier to navigate.
