Several reports say that Connecticut Superior Court Judge Alice Bruno has agreed to be suspended without pay and to retire.
Bruno sparked a controversy when reports revealed that she was paid $400,000 during a 2 1/2 year period in which she did not work.
Judge Bruno has insisted that she has not been able to work because of stress-related health issues.
Under an agreement reportedly reached Monday, Judge Bruno agrees to be suspended without pay. She also reportedly agreed to apply for disability retirement.
