Manchester, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police are investigating a crash Thursday that left an East Hartford woman dead.
The crash had Interstate 84 in Manchester closed on the westbound side between exits 59 and 58 for several hours.
Troopers say Mireilly Vega, 25, was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved.
Two vehicles collided.
Investigators say a Nissan veered into the center lane and hit a Hyundai.
The Nissan then travelled through a wooded area and re-entered the right shoulder, crossing all lanes of traffic in the process before striking a concrete barrier.
The driver of the Hyundai was not injured.
Vega was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.
The operator in the car she was in was treated for minor injuries at St. Francis Hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
