MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Manchester Police have made an arrest in connection with the murder of a teenage girl.
Police say Tristen Martin, 14, of Manchester, was arrested Friday on felony murder, first-degree strangulation, first-degree sexual assault, and risk of injury to a minor - illegal sexual contact.

Martin's arrest follows five months of investigation since the homicide of 13-year-old Zaniya Wright. Wright went missing in June and was later found that month dead inside the basement of an apartment building on Olcott Street.
Martin is currently being detained at the Hartford Juvenile Center.
