WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Waterbury Police make an arrest in connection with a homicide that happened in early May.
Police issued an arrest warrant on May 24 for Yearnier Osorio-Medina, 18, of Waterbury, and took him into custody on the same day.
Investigators link Osorio-Medina to the shooting death of Lashawn Nance, 19, of Waterbury, on May 7.
Osorio-Medina is charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
Osorio-Medina is being held on a 3-million-Dollar bond pending court arraignment Tuesday.
This incident remains under investigation and additional arrests are expected.
