
Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Waterbury police have arrested two teenagers in connection with a hit-and-run crash involving a stolen vehicle.
Just after 1:30 p.m. Monday, officers responded to an area of Reidville Drive on a report of a crash involving several vehicles.
They say the Maserati SUV involved was stolen out of Middlebury and involved in previous criminal activity in Waterbury.
That vehicle wound up hitting two other vehicles before the occupants fled. They were later caught.
Under arrest is Rafael Rivera, 18, and a 17-year-old male.
Both were treated at St. Mary's Hospital for minor injuries, as was one of the occupants in one of the other involved vehicles.
Rivera is being held without bond on numerous charges, including theft of a motor vehicle, evading responsibility, reckless driving, and interfering with an officer, among others.
The juvenile is charged with theft of a motor vehicle, criminal trover, interfering with an officer and illegal possession of cannabis substance.
