East Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - East Hartford police are investigating a double homicide in town.
Police say the call came in shortly after midnight.
Officers responded to a home on Graham Road on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were rushed to an area hosptial and later pronounced dead.
Detectives say it appears the shootings may have been the result of a possible targeted home invasion.
The resident of the home was the only one who lived there, police say, and is cooperating with police.
