Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Two people have died in a one vehicle crash that occurred Sunday night in Waterbury.
It was just after 11:00 p.m. that police say the driver lost control of the vehicle at Long Hill Road and Transit Street.
Investigators say the vehicle wound up hitting two unoccupied vehicles and a house on Long Hill Road before flipping on to the driver's side.
The 24-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said a 22-year-old female passenger sustained injuries and later died at St. Mary's Hospital.
The city's building inspector said the house that was struck by the vehicle was structurally sound and the occupants were able to stay.
