Rude awakening for 21 residents of an apartment building in Bridgeport who were rushed to hospitals suffering from carbon-monoxide poisoning.
A poorly placed generator is suspected. The building was getting its electricity from the generator after police say power was shut down following a recent nearby bus fire. The problem, they say, is that the generator was running inside the basement, instead of outdoors.
This comes months after 14 people were hospitalized in a C-O incident in New Haven
