NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ New London Police arrested three men in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager in February.
Police on Sunday arrested Franc Gjergjaj, 20, of East Lyme; Mack Mann IV, 20, of New London; and Justice Rodriguez, 24, of New London.
On February 17, 2021, around 6:22 p.m., police and EMS responded to the area of Grand and Elm Streets, where 17-year-old Ronde Ford had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gjergjaj was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, weapons in a vehicle, tampering with physical evidence, and interfering with an officer. Gjergjaj posted a $35,000 bond.
Mann was charged with first-degree criminal attempt of robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit assault, first-degree accessory to assault, tampering with evidence, violation of a protective order, and carrying a pistol without a permit. Mann has a $160,000 bond.
Rodriguez was charged with first-degree criminal attempt of robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit assault, and first-degree accessory to assault. Rodriguez has a $150,000 bond.
All three men are scheduled to appear in court in New London on Monday.
