Winsted, Conn./WTIC Radio - There's been another arrest in connection with a cat hoarding case in Winsted.
Police say under arrest is Lee Manzone, 28, of Torrington.
It was back on June 13 that officers received an anonymous call concerning a sick cat at a residence on Moore Avenue.
When they arrived on scene, police and the animal control officer detected a strong oder of urine from within.
Scores of animals were seized.
Manzone is facing 106 counts of animal cruelty and two counts of risk of injury.
The arrest brings to four the number of those charged in the case.
Two children were living in the home with the adults and have since been placed in the care of the state Department of Children and Families.
