Hartford, Conn. (WTIC News) _ Connecticut continues to lead the way when it comes to getting adults vaccinated for COVID-19.
Governor Ned Lamont announcing Connecticut is one of the first states to register 70% of adults with at least on dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
This places the state well ahead of President Biden's deadline of July 4.
The most recent positivity rate in Connecticut was 1.39% as of Friday, May 7.
