It was one year ago this week that Old Saybrook nursing home resident Edward Flynn died at the age of 87 after breaking his neck.
Now, police that Flynn suffered the injury after being pushed.
Seventy-year-old Steven Luckett is charged with pushing Flynn's walker, sending him falling and hitting head. Police say Flynn was hard of hearing and tended to watch TV with the volume up, something they say got on Luckett's nerves.
Luckett now faces a charge of second-degree manslaughter. He's being held on a half-million-dollar bond.
