TOLLAND, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police make an additional arrest in connection with a street takeover in Tolland.

Troopers, with help from the F.B.I., were able to track down suspect Marc Mann, 21, of Bloomfield, through social media activity linked to street takeovers.

Mann was allegedly part of a large crowd that took over the intersection of Fieldstone Commons and Merrow Road in Tolland around 10 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

When a couple tried to move their vehicle through the blocked intersection, a crowd of 10 to 15 takeover-attendees began to damage the couple's vehicle by kicking it and jumping on it for a period of about five minutes.

Investigators say Mann was part of the group that damaged that vehicle.

State Police say Mann voluntarily turned himself in on an arrest warrant Wednesday evening to face charges of first-degree rioting, conspiracy, first-degree criminal mischief, unauthorized damage to a motor vehicle, and first-degree reckless endangerment.

Bond is set at $5,000.
