GUILFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Guilford Police report an alligator was found in town on Thursday.
Police didn't specify where the alligator, named Stella, was found.
Officials say Stella was cooperative with police and State DEEP crews and will be re-located to an aquarium to live out her life.
Police say this is an opportunity to remind residents alligators are illegal pets in Connecticut.
