Manchester, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police say they have arrested a suspect who was stabbed at a Manchester coffee shop last week.
It was October 16 that detectives say a 52-year-old male stabbed the suspect in self defense, 19-year-old Elijah Madera at the Dunkin' on Middle Turnpike West.
Both men left the scene before police arrived.
Madera was taken to a hospital.
The assault victim was located and police say they were able to corroborate his story of self defense after viewing video surveillance.
Police say Madera continued to assault and throw items at the victim even after the stabbing.
He's charged with assault and criminal mischief.
Bond was set at $50,000.
