NORWICH, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Norwich Police arrest a woman in connection with an assault Thursday.
Police say Mary Beth Kostek, 45, of Norwich, is being charged with criminal attempt to commit murder, first-degree assault, and cruelty to persons in connection with an assault reported at 25 Briar Lane.
Two injured women were found at the scene when police responded to the report of an assault.
One of the injured women had stab wounds on the upper part of her body.
Both are being treated at Backus Hospital.
Police say evidence found at the scene allegedly connects Kostek to the crime.
Kostek's bond is $1,500,000.
