Steve Cohen is among the more than 150,000 people across Connecticut with some unwelcome news in the mail from Webster Bank.

"It wasn't very specific," said Cohen of the letter to WFSB, Channel 3, "just that they got certain, you know, probably my social security number and things like that."

The letter informs the Webster customers that a data breach involving a vendor called Guardian Analytics has exposed their information, including account numbers.

Cohen says that the list of worries about your information getting stolen just keeps growing longer: "You just have to watch all your stuff, all your banking, and all your credit cards."

As required by Connecticut law, Webster is offering impacted customers two years of credit monitoring.
