The dead man was found at the mouth of the Connecticut River.
It's a section of Old Lyme known as Black Hall River.
His body, discovered in the water last night at around seven.
There is no word from authorities on the age or identity of the man.
He's being referred to simply as John Doe by state police, who have now
launched an investigation.
