Clinton, Conn./WTIC Radio - Customers of Connecticut Water can once again use their water without having to boil it first.
The advisory was put in place on Friday.
This came after E Coli bacteria turned up during routine testing.
Additional testing prompted officials to lift the advisory on Saturday.
Company officials say the bacteria was confined to a single tap in Essex.
Over a half dozen communities were impacted, including Old Daybrook, Essex, Guilford and Madison.
