Branford, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Branford pediatrician has been charged with sexual assault.
Under arrest is Dr. Michael Sheehan.
Detectives says in late June, Sheehan allegedly assaulted a 20-year-old female during a scheduled medical exam.
Sheehan has worked at Branford Pediatric and Adolescents since 2008.
He's being charged with second-degree sexual assault and is free on $100,000 and is due in court in New Haven August 1.
Police say the case is still under investigation.
