A crackdown in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on domestic violence resulted
in 22 arrests.
The suspects taken into custody Wednesday range in age from 21 to 60 and face charges ranging from sexual assault to criminal mischief, endangerment, strangulation, and more.
Working with the counterparts in Westport, Monroe, Fairfield, Trumbull, and the Connecticut State Police, Bridgeport police say the operation -- called "Sunrise at Congress 2024," -- was carried out
after several days of planning. They say they anticipate there will be more arrests.
