PLYMOUTH, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ The elusive beefalo that has been sought since August in Plymouth has been captured.
"It's a relief for us here at the entire department...he was captured safely, uninjured...so we're very excited, very happy with the outcome that we had," said Plymouth Police Captain Edward Benecchi.
He tells WTIC News Buddy was found after he found a farm with other cows on it. Police say they had a trap waiting for him, and he eventually went inside.

Buddy will be heading to Massachusetts for a full veterinary exam.
From there, he will be transported to Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary in Gainesville, Florida.
Plymouth Police thank the community for their support and tips in trying to find Buddy. Special funding on GoFundMe allows for his move to Florida.
