WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ A car that police say is linked to a weekend shooting in Hartford, as well as an attempted catalytic converter theft from a car in West Hartford, crashed into a home in West Hartford on Tuesday.
Around 6 a.m. Tuesday, Hartford Police alerted West Hartford police that officers were pursuing the suspect vehicle, described as a blue Infiniti with Massachusetts license plates, and the chase was heading into West Hartford.
West Hartford Police set up tire deflation devices and helped Hartford Police with the chase as it continued on New Park Avenue.
The car was traveling at a high speed when it lost control in the area of Jefferson Avenue.
West Hartford Police say around 6:15 a.m., the car struck some large rocks in a parking lot and went airborne. The car took down telephone wires and a utility pole, before crashing into a parked car and a house on New Park Avenue at Darcy Street. A fire broke out.
The three occupants of the car were taken to an area hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Hartford Police's Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
