Glastonbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Glastonbury police say a vehicle struck a building in town on Monday.
Just before 3:00 p.m., officers say a sedan driven by a 76-year-old male hit the Munson's Chocolates store at Somerset Square on Glastonbury Boulevard.
Investigators say the man drove through the front entrance to the store after driving over a sidewalk.
No injuries were reported but the driver was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.
A Glastonbury building official responded to inspect the integrity of the building before the vehicle was removed.
