Southington, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police in Southington have recovered the vehicle involved in an early morning carjacking in town.
Around 1:15 a.m., a woman who'd just finished pumping gas at a station on Queen Street reported a suspect jumping into her car and taking off, officers said.
The suspect threatened to shoot the woman after she got into the moving vehicle on the passenger side, police said.
No weapon was displayed.
A witness reported another suspect including the driver, police said.
Both men were described as white Hispanic, according to officials.
The fleeing vehicle passed a police car which couldn't catch up, police said.
