East Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - A child has died after being bitten multiple times by a dog Wednesday in East Hartford.
Police and emergency personnel were called to a residence on Fuller Avenue just after 3:00 p.m.
Officers say the one-year-old child was bitten multiple times.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.
The child's name has not been released.
Police say the investigation is ongoing, adding that two dogs were removed from the home.
