Child dead in Naugatuck as police search for suspect

Naugatuck, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Naugatuck are on the lookout for a suspect in connection with the death of a child.

They're searching for Christopher Francisquini, 31.

The one-year-old was found in a home on Millville Avenue today, according to police.

They are calling the death a homicide.

Francisquini is a black male, 6-feet tall, and about 230 pounds.

Detectives say a 2006 gray Chevy Impala with a Connecticut registration number of BF81275 connected to him was left on I-91 in New Haven.

Francisquini is believed to have been seen on surveillance footage taken from Quinnipiac Avenue in New Haven.

He should be considered dangerous, police said, and if anyone sees Francisquini, they are advised to call Naugatuck Police or dial 911.
