Connecticut relaxes COVID travel restrictions

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Connecticut is easing up its COVID-19 travel restrictions.

The Governor has lifted the state's travel advisory mandate. The change means the state's travel guidance is now a recommendation not a requirement.

Travelers will no longer need to test or quarantine upon return home from a trip.

The state is reminding travelers to be cautious and advises testing and quarantining.
