Connecticut tourist officials hope that their new slogan, "Make it Here," does for the Nutmeg State what "I Heart New York" did for the Empire State and what "Virginia Is For Lovers" did for the Old Dominion.
Appearing in New Haven with local business leaders and tourism officials, Governor Lamont has unveiled a new marketing campaign to attract more visitors to Connecticut with the use of the slogan, "Make It Here."
Clearly, they hope that Make It Here will have a much better time making it here than did their last tourism-boosting effort.
It was just two years ago that Connecticut launched a $3 million tourism campaign with the slogan "Find Your Vibe."
