(WATERBURY, CONN. WTIC)-Waterbury police have arrested a convicted felon for drugs and weapon possession. Police say they were addressing quality of life issues in the South Main Street area. While there, officers observed hand to hand illegal narcotics sales coming from a four door blue-colored Audi. This occurred in the Pit Stop gas station on South Main Street. Police retrieved drugs including crack cocaine, cocaine, oxycodone pills and a 25 caliber handgun with four live rounds. 39 year old Samuel Smith faces a variety of charges including five weapons violations, drug possession with intent to sell and interfering with an officer.
