Norwich, Conn./WTIC Radio - Norwich police say one person is dead and another injured after what they're calling a targeted incident on Wednesday.
Officers say around 7:50 last night they responded to the area of Cedar Street on a report of a disturbance.
There, they found a person with a gunshot wound.
That victim told police he was driving a vehicle and crashed after he sustained the injury.
The victim told police he was unsure where the car was.
Police later found the vehicle with a second victim in a wooded area.
That person was taken to Backus Hospital and later pronounced dead.
No names have been released and police are still investigating.
