It was like a red blur, as Connecticut State Police say they clocked Vincent Rappoccio leaving them in the dust at 115 miles an hour.
When they tried to pull over the 19-year-old suspect, he allegedly pushed down harder on the pedal, swerving around cars along I-84 East.
But he didn't get away for long.
State police say they tracked Rappoccio down about an hour later on
UConn's Storrs campus, where they arrested him and towed away the teenage driver's Audi A7 -- the new model year of which starts at over $70,000.
