This part of the country is big into the lottery says a new study from Lending Tree.
It shows that when it comes to how much household income is spent on Lottery tickets, Connecticut is in seventh place in the nation, with Nutmegger households spending $367 a year on the lottery.
That's small change compared to all of our neighbors. Rhode Island is in third place, at $430 dollars.
New York is second at $456.
Massachusetts households spend the most on lottery tickets -- plunking down more than $800 per year.
