Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - There's been reaction from some in Connecticut's congressional delegation to the Saturday strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Congressman Jim Himes, the ranking Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, said the strikes were a clear violation of the Constitution, adding that only Congress has the power to declare war.
Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, the New Haven Democrat, said "this action threatens U.S. military assets and risks the lives of service members in the region. This could drag the United States into an extended war in the Middle East."
And Senator Chris Murphy called President Trump "weak and dangerously reckless", adding that Trump has put the U.S. on a path to war in the Middle East.
