HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal is demanding answers concerning the Trump Administration's second pause on wind projects, including Revolution Wind, off the Connecticut shoreline.
Senator Blumenthal, a ranking member on the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and Member of the Armed Services Committee, is requesting a classified briefing by January 8, 2026, on which national security concerns the Trump Administration has quoted in stopping the project again.
A previous effort to stop the project last August ended up in federal court where a judge ordered the project to resume.
Attorney General William Tong argues that the project has already gone through the federal review process.
