HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas is being tapped to serve as Secretary of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) Executive Board.

“I am honored to have the support and trust of my peers to help advance thought leadership around elections, business services, and the other issues that impact our offices,” said Secretary Thomas.

Her colleagues on the board recently elected her to be part of the group's leadership.

As an active NASS member, she serves on the Elections, Cybersecurity, and Business Services Committees.

Secretary Thomas has overseen the roll-out of early voting and the investment of $25-million to replace the state's aging tabulators.

She began serving as SOTS in Connecticut in January of 2023.
