Two men, including a boat owner from Stonington, were killed in a Friday night crash, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Authorities said it appears the boat collided with a break wall off the coast of Stonington. Both men died at the scene.
The victims have been identified as David Motherway, 54, of Stonington and Brian Collie, 52, of Littleton, Colorado.
Emergency responders found part of the boat adrift on Latimer Point around 7 am Saturday.
