NAUGATUCK, CONN. WTIC)- Naugatuck Police are investigating after a dispute between a motorist and pedestrian resulted in a person struck by a vehicle. The driver called police after a rock was thrown at his vehicle on Cherry Street by Mario's Pizza.
Police say the incident occurred Saturday around 10 pm. The confrontation escalated when a knife was displayed, police say by the pedestrian. A firearm might have been displayed too. The male was then struck by the vehicle. The pedestrian fled. Police believe he may been injured and sought medical treatment.
