Brookfield, Conn./WTIC Radio - In Brookfield, police are charging a doctor with having an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile patient.
Under arrest is Dr. Jose Mahfoud.
This comes after the alleged victim made a disclosure to the Brookfield Police Youth Officer.
The person says Mahfoud provided the juvenile with methamphetamine while receiving treatment at Sophia Natural Health Center.
Detectives say the two communicated through the Telegram app.
Police gained access to the juvenile's account and communicated with Mahfoud before arresting him.
He's now charged with sexual assault and distribution of a controlled substance to a person under 18.
