Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Springtime generally means a return of state and local road projects.
In Hartford, the city is announcing a plan to resurface, repave, and restripe a portion of Main Street downtown.
The work is set to begin April 15 from Main to Gold and Wyllys Streets.
The project is expected to take about 30 days, weather permitting.
Initially, work from April 15 through the 23rd will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
From April 24 through May 2, crews will mill and pave between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The project is expected to wrap up between May 3 and May 15.
Street parking will be limited during the construction period, officials said.
