New London, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is under arrest for his alleged part in a fiery wreck last year on the Gold Star Bridge.
Reginald Collins, 59, is charged with negligent homicide.
State police say Collins was driving an unregistered vehicle with no insurance among other offenses at the time of the crash last April, when one of the tires on his car failed.
Collins stopped in the right acceleration lane of the bridge along Interstate 95.
Police say a truck carrying home heating oil struck the vehicle, rolling over and catching fire.
The truck driver died.
The blaze engulfed both vehicles and parts of the bridge.
Collins bond was set at $25,000.
