East Hartford sexual assault suspect arrested in Puerto Rico

Police in East Hartford have been looking for Jose Sanchez since he was first wanted six years ago on charges of sexually assaulting a minor.
Now, the 44-year-old suspect has been apprehended in Puerto Rico.
Officials say that locating Sanchez in Puerto rico was the result of "exhausting all efforts" to find him.
Sanchez, according to the officials, was found and arrested by East Hartford Police with the assistance of the Connecticut U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Say the officials, the suspect was found hiding with his family in the Hato Rey neighborhood of San Juan. According to the Task Force, Sanchez remains in custody in Puerto Rico pending extradition to Connecticut.
